Play by Turkish Mangala rules, starting with four stones in each of twelve pits.
Choose a pit
Choose one of your own non-empty pits.
Sow the stones
With several stones, leave one in the chosen pit and sow the rest anticlockwise, one at a time. A single stone moves to the next pit. Skip your opponent’s store.
Extra turn
Land your last stone in your store to play again.
Capture
There are two ways to capture stones into your store.
Your last stone lands in your store, giving you another turn.
Finish and score
Empty all six of your pits to collect the opponent’s remaining stones. The fuller store wins; equal stores draw.
